World First for 3D Printing and Bionics
Open Bionics founder, Joel Gibbard used commercially available technology he found online to fit 23-year old Daniel Melville with a 3D scanned and 3D printed, custom-fitted prosthetic socket and robotic hand. Amazing! Read about Daniel's reaction.

Conference focuses on how 3D-scanning collaboration might work among law agencies
3D scanners are being used to scan large crime scene areas in Kansas State. The scans allow investigators to essentially revisit a crime scene without actually traveling back to the location.
